“Good Thai Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2014

The Thai food was very tasty. The pad Thai dishes are enough to share! The hand rolls are delicious!!! Everyone enjoyed every entree ordered. The only complaint was it was a little noisy.

“Tasty Thai”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2014

Really enjoyable modern style Thai. Unusual wraps and 'steamed buns'. Loved the design and service. Well worth the trip and not incredibly expensive. Probably one of the best in Mountain Village.

“Thai food but no Pad Thai”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 July 2014

The food was good a little nouveau, not your typical Thai restaurant menu, but excellent design, and interesting menu.... just don't expect typical dishes.... not terribly expensive...

“This restaurant is well worth the trip!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 July 2014

Whether you just ride up the gondola from Telluride to Mountain Village, or travel from out of town, Talay is well worth the ride. The food is superb, the service is excellent, and the decor is authentic Thai.

And, if you think it's just a branch of it's sister restaurant, Siam, in Telluride, you're wrong. The standard of quality is the same, but the menu is quite different. The focus is seafood, with different fish preparations and dipping sauces every day. However, head chef Adam Pace has created some very unique dishes like his Thai shepherd's pie which is Colorado lamb and beef with frangelica parsnips instead of mashed potatoes.

Talay is a one of a kind experience that is definitely worth the trip.
