We were a group of people who stayed at the Welcome Jomtien early October 2011 .
rooms were given on the 10th floor. The bathrooms were dirty and the towels were very old.The service of the staff was very poor. There were probems with the room air conditioner, electricity and it took hours for them to send someone to the room to attend to this and that was also after reminding them a few times. No one seems to be interested in offering a better service. .
They charge Baht 180.- per hour for the wi-fi facility at the Lobby. No wi-fi available in rooms.
Outside the hotel, just few meters away there are internet cafe's that charge only Bhat 40.- per hour.
The breakfast served at the main restaurant is terrible. The food quality is very very poor, nothing much to eat . better book this hotel on room only basis and have yur breakfast at a restaurant outside the hotel on teh beach road. The coffee served must be the cheapest quality in the world.
Regret for staying at this hotel as there are far better hotels in Jomtien that offers better prices than this hotel with mush higher standards.More
