This little garden is not so little - around every corner we found another great little spot to sit on a bench and enjoy the flowers and foliage. There is a suggested donation but no formal admittance fee. There were very few people there the afternoon we stopped by. It was peaceful and energizing.

Beautiful and detailed garden provides a relaxing retreat. Complex display of plants that are well labeled. Plenty of benches to sit on to relax and reflect while listening to waterfalls. Visited in October after a snowfall and while there were few blooming plants, the beauty of the garden remains in the design of the landscape, creative use of rocks, water features, plantings.

Well maintained gardens (remember, it's alpine, don't be expecting tropical, lush gardens) are a nice walk. Don't forget to walk the nature trail along the creek, very peaceful and a slice of Colorado close in.

We visited these gardens in late September and enjoyed the scenery. Late September is probably not the best time to see the gardens, but it was worthwhile to spend time there. The gardens are a short walk from Vail center. Not too many flowers when we were there. I would like to come back in the Spring or Summer.

These gardens display well identified plants that grow all over the world in Alpine regions. Beautifully landscaped. Places to sit and listen to waterfalls and just enjoy the beauty.
