Around a month prior to our stay in one of the condos, the hotel contacted us to let us know that basically nothing would be open due to construction delays. This wouldn't be such an issue if it weren't Vail and Spring Break. The hotel "generously" agreed to waiving the resort fees, or, in our case refund the money. We will be getting our money back, paying double for another property, if we can find one and never staying at the Talisa.

Hi, Michael. We are truly so sorry for this inconvenience. Trust that as soon as we received the updated construction timeline, we immediately took action to contact guests within that window who were staying in our residences. Unfortunately, with the massive scope of the hotel’s renovation, along the way - unforeseeable circumstances have arisen that have impacted the construction timeline. Given that not all public spaces within the hotel would be finalized during your stay dates, we felt obligated to waive the resort fee and refund your stay without hesitation if you felt that were in your best interest. We would still be happy to host you in the residences, albeit without all of the public spaces in the hotel being ready, but certainly understand your frustration and desire to stay elsewhere should that be your preference. Please don’t hesitate to contact me to discuss this further. We would welcome the opportunity to have you as a guest in the future once the renovation is completed and earn your trust and patronage back. You may reach me directly at jgarth@hoteltalisa.com. Thank you again for the feedback.

Stayed there for 2 March Ski trips now. Doubt my wife and I will ever try to stay anywhere else in Vail. I love the private lift and the village is right down the road if you want to mix it up a little.

Room Tip: A mountain view room is a must.

We had our wedding in Vail and had a room block with Vail Cascade. The accommodations and staff were incredible to our guest. They helped shuttle our guests around and even allowed us to reserve a shuttle. They went above and beyond and delivered send gift baskets that we created to all of our guests. The rates for the wedding were incredible and the communication was fantastic.

Many of our guests have returned and the hotel keeps the record they booked for our wedding and have included things in their room or upgrades. They just go the extra mile at all times.

Thank you for helping make our wedding fantastic!

We have stayed in this resort twice. Our favorite time of year to visit is for Snow Daze in December. Crowds in the slopes are light and there's enough snow to have fun! This resort offers ski in/ski out accommodations and has a ski rental shop next to the loft. Perfect combo!

Feels like a 5 star hotel, service feels 5 stars with exceptional price! You won't be disappointed! Perfect spot, perfect distance from downtown vail. Pools are beautiful and relaxing, gives you a personal romantic feeling. It's tradition for us to go and visit every year. LOVE IT ALWAYS! And you will too :)

Room Tip: The rooms with the best views are on the west side- they also have balcony's on that side as well :) ----but any room you stay in is nice!
