I came in en spec to find an argument going on with the front desk and a group that could not fit on the table. Eventually got to the bar to eat and was served the most awful hot and sour soup. Did not eat it. The main arrived and it was just about edible. The waitress offered to take the soup off the bill, but didn't.

Really not a very good experience and one of my rare terrible ratings is given.

We ate here thee times, twice for sushi and once for hibachi. Sushi is good, relaxed atmosphere and not outrageously priced. Rolls are very complicated, we are used to more traditional japanese food than these rolls with so much packed in. Hibachi was a highlight of our trip. Fun night for the kids and the food was good. We upgraded to fillet steak and it was lovely and tender. Nice wine list too that was not over the top.

The food was fairly good and moderately priced(by Vail standards). It was a mixture of Japanese, Chinese, and Thai food.

Excellent fried rice and hibachi. I could've eaten just the fried rice for dinner. Half off sushi was very fresh and a great price

I've had teppanyaki at Sushi Oka a few times now. The teppanyaki is a lot like Bennihanna - but just a little better. The food is slightly better and pretty consistent. There is standard fare of chicken, seafood and steak plus fried rice for a small extra fee and vegetables. The chefs tell the same corny jokes that you might also hear at Bennihana or one of the many other restaurants that serve this style of food.

The staff is very welcoming when you walk in. They do have a more standard menu with what looked like sushi plus some chinese, korean and thai dishes. We've only tried teppanyaki.

The service in the restaurant is mixed. Each time we've eaten at the restaurant, the server has forgotten at least one of our items.

The restaurant has a casual atmosphere. There is a bar, tvs playing sports, hibatchi tables and regular tables. You could easily feel comfortable here in jeans.

Pricing for this restaurant really varies with the season. Off-season you can find 40% off deals in the Vail Daily which is the local paper. In high seaon the prices can be very high. We ate at this restaurant in November and our bill was $95 for 4 people. We ate similar meals on New Year's Eve here and our bill was $300 for 5 people.
