“beautiful vail, beautiful hotel”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

I love the four seasons vail. this was my second stay here and both times I used the spa services which were flawlessly executed. The rooms were decadent and smartly appointed. The staff was gracious and helpful. The view and the hotels' proximity to vail village with all the great restaurants and shops is paramount to ones decision making upon where to stay. Highly recommended for a memorable vacation.

How much I love this property! We came here over MDW and had an absolute blast. It was the off season and we came to relax, we basically had the (heated) pool to ourselves and indulged ourselves in some spa treatments. I know it gets crazy during the winter but you should def check it out in the summertime too! Head over to Minton for some nice trails - a great way to connect with nature.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the pool can get loud during the daytime

The Four Seasons is a class act even in the down time of travel to Vail and the little town closed for renovation they made sure that we had what was needed in this 5 Star Resort and the staff was attentive to all our needs and very helpful in providing an excellent atmosphere for the conference I attended and the service was exactly what you would expect from a hotel of this caliber or better!

Four season's is a centrally located resort hotel in Vail. The staff is very courteous and always eager to help. I stayed here for 3 nights in May 2014. It was an off season so most of the shops and some of the restaurents were closed in the vicinity. The hotel has well equpped Gym, a good swimming pool. The restaurent is also good and the breakfast spread is quite good. The services of Chef are available to provide hot made to order dishes. The rooms are large and quite comfortable.

Stayed here in Feb 2014 for 6 nights with the wife. Flew into Denver and then 2 hour-ish transfer to the resort. We had stayed in the 4 Seasons in Whistler in 2013 and thought we would try a different North American ski resort.

The service was not intrusive and the rooms were very good and spacious. We stayed in a standard room and were told that we received the last room available as they were at full capacity. We never found the hotel to be too busy though. Cannot complain about anything to be honest.

It is quite natural for us to compare this resort to the one in Whistler and in terms of service/rooms, there is nothing between the two. I would place the Vail resort higher in terms of spa/leisure/fitness facilities but Whistler is a lot kinder on the wallet and I prefer its location in respect to the ski-concierge and village as it's easier to walk from the resort to the Ski Concierge in Whistler village whilst in Vail you have to take the Hotel's minivan. These are personal preferences but you won't go wrong at either one. Perhaps next time I try the one in Jackson!

Special mention must go to Brooke Taylor on Concierge who took care of everything for us and arranged all dinners for the week around the village. This was done all over email before we arrived from the UK.

Recommend that you eat at Flame in the hotel for dinner as it is amazing...so good we ate there twice during our week's stay.

We would go back to stay again but beware the village and resort is not kind on the wallet!

The minute you walk into your spacious, well-appointed room you feel at home. From the fireplace to a humidifier (!) you feel pampered. Turn down service also nice especially the slippers by the bed in sealed packages. Though valet parking you can also access your car if you forgot something by going to the first floor.

Room Tip: Rooms over looking pool seem best.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Four Seasons Vail for a recent conference. It truly lives up to the Four Seasons reputation but in the facility itself and the service provided. The hotel is beautiful, with a relaxing library-like lounge greeting you at the entrance. The rooms are perfect - over-sized, comfortable bed, delightful gas fireplace, luxurious bathroom, good desk space (if you have to work while there!). Housekeeping did a terrific job and my room was always very clean. It was too cold to use the pool but it looks very nice. It's heated and I did see a few hardy folks using it and the outdoor hot tub. The spa was wonderful and the massage I had was great.
The meeting space is perfect for fairly small groups - maybe 100-125 or so. The banquet food was excellent. I heard nothing but good comments and that's certainly not always the case with hotel food.

Almost better than the hotel itself though, is the service provided by the staff. Every single staff members was friendly, welcoming and eager to help and answer questions. They would bend over backward to provide assistance and do whatever they good to make each guest's stay enjoyable. They clearly have been trained to make things right, and given the authority to do so.

I was there during the off-season (Vail itself seemed practically deserted most of the time), and it was clear that from the manager on down the staff truly appreciated the business.

The Four Seasons is by no means inexpensive, but it is worth every dollar. On top of that, it is in such a gorgeous setting. Waking up every day and seeing the beautiful mountains was an added bonus to a wonderful stay.

Room Tip: I was in 5016, and mountain view room. I believe that all of the regular rooms are the same, the on...
