The restaurant is good. The hostess tonight is rude and sarcastic. She does not respect reservations and clients. Terrible experience to meet her. Please try to have better persons working in such a grest place. She gave 2 names. Maybe Peggie or Megan. It is sad to meet people like her

Small, hip restaurant with delicious, creative sushi and amazing cocktails. We were late for our reservation during a busy night but were seated right away. The staff was incredibly friendly and we never felt hurried despite the fact that people were waiting. The sushi was some of the best I've had and I'm from SF which is saying a lot.

Not only was the sushi fantastic, but we accidentally left behind a purse and didn't realize it until the next day. When we visited just prior to opening, the owner looked around, took us to his office and checked the safe, then took our contact information to let us know if he had any updates after more staff arrived.

And what do you know, our kind waitress had it set aside, safe and sound.

A true gem, delicious sushi, and service that was above the call of duty.

Amazing Food and service.

Small, quaint, and very good food!

I would highly recommend.

It is one of our favorite restaurants in Vail!

If you like Japanese, you can't go wrong.

Have you ever been to a restaurant where you really couldn't taste the food because it was so loud. Magnify that 100 times and you're at Yama. The bpm was so loud I couldn't tell whether they were a nightclub or a sushi restaurant. The garlic soy edemame is very good and unique. The kale salad was average and tasteless. The yellow tail entre was unique but I could't tell if it was good because the music drowned out my taste buds. The spicy tuna was average. One thing that wasn't average was the price. Yama knows how to charge. You pay for the location, the music, and I suppose the food.
