“Amazing sushi find!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 April 2014 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

The sushi is fantastic and fresh which is hard to find in Colorado. We found this place walking through Vail Village and we've been twice, both amazing experiences. Be sure to book a reservation as it's gaining a following.

“Good meal average sushi”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 March 2014 via mobile

Small location, food was good though. Server left the table before we were able to order more, seemed rushed and would have got more $$)$ out of us had she stuck around to let us finish a sentence!

“Excellent Sushi at Money-making Yama”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2014

My adult daughter and I had a great meal this evening at Yama. Very knowledgeable staff, quick service, and creative work by the sushi chefs. No surprise, their specialty rolls/sushi come with a big price tag, sometimes more than $30 bucks. Is it worth it? Probably not, but for many visitors at Vail price doesn't matter, so just enjoy the great food and ambiance.

“Hands down, BEST restaurant in Vail, CO!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 March 2014

I took my dad there while he was in town and we had the Omakase, where we just let the chef create our menu for the evening. What happened after that is tough to truly explain. It was too many courses to count - it included King Crab, Uni, Toro, Foie Gras, and soo much more. Brian, the head chef, is innovative and executes with incredible attention to detail. His training under Nobu Matsuhisa is evident in every bite. I can't say enough good things about the food here.
