From going up the gondola, riding in the (yes, slightly pimped-out) snowcat through the swirling snow, to the doorway was awesome; the trip back (with slightly better visibility) was just as good.
In between, it was one of the best meals I've ever had. Started with the pork belly, which was delicious; the salad was good, but, well, I love salad and wouldn't have minded more... My lamb was outstanding, served with 5 separate little dabs of condiment to accompany, and they were all delicious and a perfect match. Particularly the carrot puree with a hint of Indian spices -- awesome! Except that the salted dried olives were also really, really, good. The other members of my party had the duck, and pronounced it delicious.
The 5-chocolate dessert is really good, however the standout dessert was the cheese plate -- it came with a small amount of truffle honey that was an incredible taste experience; sweet combined with incredible umami. A small amount went a long way, but man -- what an accent!
It was a once-in-a-lifetime type of experience overall.
