There isn't a nicer hotel in Vail. The staff is first rate; the rooms are lovely; the location couldn't be better. We had the nicest time. We will most definitely be back to the Sebastian. Honestly, one of the nicest hotels I've ever been to. Well done!

Room Tip: We didn't have a view, which I'm sure would be nice. But, all you have to do is walk outsid...

We arrived with our family late at night and were greeted with bottles of water and help with our bags right away. The manager, Eric, treated us great by changing our room the next day to a view room at no additional charge. The service was awesome and everybody was very friendly and accommodating from the hotel manager to the house keeping staff. Would definitely stay here again! Good job guys!

From the time we pulled in the staff was very friendly and helpful. They showed us the propery and where everything was before we went to our room. We had our 4 month old with us and they had a pack-n-play all setup with a little stuffed animal for her. The rooms are great, free snacks and water were great! The hotel took a bit of getting use to as the halls are windy but it was one of the quietest hotels we have stayed at in a long time. The location was great, just out the back door was the pedestrian mall and lots of activities. We would stay here again for sure, the only change we would make is to ask for a mountian view! Thanks to all of the great staff!

We have stayed at many beautiful places in the Vail/Beaver Creek/Edwards area but none of those can compare with the service provided by the staff of The Sebastian. Front desk manager Eric, Kiki and others have perfected first class service without the first class ego. Everyone from management to the service staff greets you in the public areas, asks how you are and if you require anything. The spa is great and if you want to revive your weary body and soul, request Mandi or Anna--two delightful magicians who can knead away whatever ails you. If it is Friday night, attend the complimentary cocktail hour in the Library, with libations and wonderful appetizers. Like other reviewers, we cannot wait to return.

Great visit over Memorial Day weekend. Impeccable service throughout the visit. Staff were very helpful in location two lost items and were nice, professional and eager to help us. It was steps from the pedestrian street in Vail village and close to many nice restaurants and shops. I am eager to return.

Room Tip: We asked to switch rooms from one facing the highway to facing the mountain. The staff was very hel...

The Sebastian may have had some problems in the past with it previous owner but the current owner knows the definition of luxury. This property is THE place to stay in Vail. I am very particular when it comes to travel and I was extremely impressed with my stay at the property March 2012. There are now a lot of options for five star accomodations in Vail but The Sebastian in my favorite.

Initially I was given a 1 bedroom hotel room which would have been tight for 2 people and all of our luggage. When my wife arrived a day later we moved into a 2 bedroom unit which was a wholly different experience (2 bedrooms, kitchen, big living/dining room, etc.) Sebastian's interior decor is easily described as rustic contemporary, and very comfortable after a long day on the slopes. Our only complaint is the rooms and hallways were dimly lit, especially in front of the closets! Breakfast at MARKET was a fun experience in that the food is offered in a European-esq buffet with freshly made omelets and coffee drinks. The food at Block 16 was excellent -- especially a white truffle dish -- and overcame the tepid service pace. We will absolutely return to the Sebastian and look forward to the warm service offered from the Timbers' family.

Room Tip: Our room faced the highway which meant we also heard middle-of-the-night snowplows. If you're a...
