“Great base for an excellent skiing holiday with an international group”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2013

We booked two apartments and were able to get them next door, which was really convenient as we ate a lot of meals together. The difference in ownership was obvious, though, with the kitchen items and general fit out in one apartment much better than the other. Room service was great and most appreciated, as were the hot tubs at the end of the day, maintenance was prompt and seemed to fix everything (there were quite a lot of problems to start with). Very well located within walking distance of the slopes and Lionshead centre.

Room Tip: Higher up and away from the hot tubs and reception and laundry and conference rooms are probably bet...

I've stayed here once or twice a year for 10 years. That kind of says it all. Close to the base (easy short walk). Heated, underground parking. Ski lockers right on the way to the base. The rooms (condos) are individually owned and vary from room to room. Some are fancier than others, but all are well done and come with a well equipped kitchen. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Not as "high end" as the nearby Arrabelle, but so much more affordable...and still right at the base.

Room Tip: You can look on line at photos from each room, to help choose which unit might appeal to your tastes

I am writing this while sitting on my balcony, sipping tea, listening to the river rush under the snow, and looking at Vail mountain. The "rooms" are actually closer to condos with a full kitchen, family room(with pull out), fireplace, and separate bedroom. Very comfortable! Right by Eagle Bahn lift and gondola. The pool and hot tub are right by the river and view the mountain. A great place with a great location!

We have been skiing at Vail for 16 years and we were lucky enough to find Antlers in our first year. The property is a perfect distance from the Lionshead Gondola. It is easy to get in and out of, close proximity to grocery stores, and a GORGEOUS property. We have loved each and every visit and wouldn't stay anyplace else. The staff is courteous, helpful, and goes above and beyond to make each stay feel like a vacation with friends. We love walking to the gondola, skiing all day, walking "home" and taking a soak in the hot tub. The rooms are so gorgeous and well appointed, we never want to leave them, but everything Vail has to offer is a stroll away. Thanks Antlers, for another fabulous vacation!

Room Tip: Unit 417 is AMAZING...maybe the most beautiful condo there....

It is difficult to find a better location for skiers. It is located 100 - 150 meters from the Lionshead Gondola so the in and out of skiing each day is a breeze. Antlers provides a great ski room with lockers to store skis, air blown dryers for boots and a convenient room to put on the boots, etc.
Underground parking takes away the hassle of transporting luggage, groceries, etc.and the rooms are designed and maintained with vactioners in mind. The front desk people are friendly and accomodating, and to the extent maintenance is need it is done that first day. I can't end without mentioning the 2 outstanding hot-tubs, full length heated pool and a convenient heated changing house, toilet and supply of towels next to the pools.
Adding up all the pluses, the Antlers is a great value.

Extended our family vacation and stayed here. We had kids with us and it worked as a family Vacation spot, but had a better feel for a couples retreat. It was a great spot for walking around and was surrounded by nice upscale restaurant. We went in the summer but I would rather go back during the winter with the ski season. Looks like it would be beautiful with a blanket of snow!

This is like coming home, or visiting a close friend. The staff is wonderfull, the appartement spacious, with a full equiped kitchen, a wonderful view from the balcony, a nice hot pool and tubs. Incredible service. We didn't have a car, and we could take a free bus to the supermarket, but Dan (from Antler's) drove us to the citymarket, and picked us up after we were done shopping.
Antler's is very close to the Gondola and city center.
There are just a few, very few minor issues, the bed is not standing against the wall so you can not really comfotably sit in it. Some lightswitches and doorknobs are from poor quality and need to be replaced. The final minor thing was that the cooker hood made an incredible noise..

Room Tip: 310 cloce to entrance, reception and no need to walk the stairs or take the elevator.
