We read the reviews and were expecting mediocrity, but were surprised by how nice this hotel was. It has a cozy, small hotel, rustic ski chalet feel. Great location near the gondola, ski school, restaurants and shopping. Wonderful view of the mountain.
I didn't care for the shared balcony, because sliding glass doors typically aren't that secure.
There needs to be more variety with the breakfast pricing (steers you to get the buffet), but this is typical at all Marriott hotels.
Unlike other reviews, we didn't feel like the decor was outdated, it just felt rustic. The queen size beds were not truly queen size, they felt like double sized beds.More
