Very, very nice. Very comfortable. No hotel in Vail can match the staff friendliness and diligence. They honestly make you feel like a welcome friend in their home!

Our family just completed a 4 night stay at the Tivoli and it could not have been more enjoyable. We stayed here two years ago and were blown away, so were both excited to return and a little worried about being disappointed - the first experience was so great we weren't sure if it could live up to the expectation we had. No worries, though - it was equally awesome! Some of our highlights:
Room - impeccably clean (even my very particular wife was impressed), includes small kitchen with sink and mini-fridge, incredibly comfortable beds, room safe, large & luxurious bathroom (huge tub, walk-in shower with body jets, marble all around, nice towels and robes) and if you get a mountain view room you will not be sorry to wake up, open the curtains, and start the day with your breath being taken away...
Location - two minutes to walk to the heart of Vail village. Couldn't be better!
Staff - the Tivoli staff has been a breath of fresh air. Whether it was the front desk (all of whom are bright, cheerful, and always ready to offer assistance), the morning breakfast staff (Elena was great!), the housekeeping staff, or even Speed, the chocolate lab who roams the great room on the ground floor, we always felt welcome and at home
Breakfast buffet - another great feature that we enjoyed every day, with a cook there to make you eggs or omellettes, fresh waffles, everything you can imagine. Then you can sit anywhere in the great room enjoying the view of the mountain and the bright sunshine with coffee and fresh orange juice. And the prices (continental is $9.95 or full for $13.95) were excellent, expecially for Vail.
No resort fee - all of the other high-end hotels that we've stayed at in Vail charge a daily "resort fee" of $25-$35 dollars per day on top of the room charge. Not the Tivoli!
Parking - parking is available at $15/day; someone from the front desk will park your vehicle for you in their underground garage and get it for you whenever you want.
Value - we were in Vail during the tail end of the "off season" (between ski season and summer season, which begins late June), so the prices were excellent (plus restaurants and other services are discounted because of the off season). Even during the peak of ski season, though, the Tivoli's prices beat the big guys.
All in all, this was one of our best vacations ever and it was in large part because of the Tivoli. It is a luxury hotel, but it is small and run exceptionally well. And though it is very high end, you feel like family - the best of both worlds. Thanks!
We came to Vail in Jan to ski. I was pleasantly surprized at just how nice this hotel was. Although its not ski-in-out , the lifts are just a 5min walk, if that. The Vail village is just around the corner. The location can not be beat. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and cozy with lots of updates/upgrades. The kitchennette is awesome, you can stock up on snacks or meals and stash those in the fridge. This hotel is so cozy and nice that you will want to stay in for meals! The lobby area rocks! Huge comfy couches, full bar, massive fireplace and complimentary hot drinks in the AM and Apre Ski. The staff are great, there is a great atmosphere of staying in a small family-owned hotel with big hotel accomodations. Friendly hotel dog keeping an eye on everyone is a nice homey touch. Jacuzzi tubs were clean and inviting especially after a day of skiing. I can not say enough nice things about this place. Tivoli is the kind of place you come back to every year.
Stayed at the Tivoli Lodge in the suite and had a wonderful time. The extra-large two-room suite features a spacious living room with a spectacular view of the mountain, a very comfortable king bed and a master bath with high end finishes like body jets in the shower and heated towel rack. There is a kitchenette with full-sized fridge and another half bath. The staff was very helpful and among the nicest we experienced in the whole Vail Village. During breakfast or early evening while we sat on the patio, Speed, the house dog, and Ginger, the house cat, greeted us. Convenient to everything in Vail Village, the Tivoli met every expectation, and we will definitely be back.
Had a wonderful one night stay here recently. We got a great off season rate and really enjoyed both the facility and the community.
Nice small hotel feel, staff is great. Super short walk to Vail Village & everything you could possible want. Visited midweek in early June, basically had the place to myself. Nice rooms, even better bathrooms w/ tub and tiled glass shower, My only complaint (albeit a small one) is that the outdoor area out back is quite small, only 2 small hot tubs & a smallish patio area...would hate to see this area if hotel was busy- I hope they improve & expand as their back lawn area is quite big. Doesn't have a restaurant attached, if you're looking for a cool bar scene, look elsewhere. Early June is good time to visit Vail, lots of dining deals & no congestion in the Village + amazing 70 degree blue bird days...
