Vail International is behind the skating rink and next to the parking garage in Lionshead. We rented a two bedroom for 5 adults Dec. 17-22. King in one bedroom but small bath down the hall. The second bedroom had two queen beds and attached bath. Large hot tub and pool with a great view of the mountain. Walking distance to the gondola and Born Free lift. We rented our equipment from Preformance Sports in Lionshead and left the equipment there at the end of each day. We could walk to Vail Village or take the shuttle. Our lodgings were updated but each unit is owned individually. The staff was very friendly. The skiing was wonderful. Two of us did a half-day private ski lesson which was worth the money. We enjoyed our lunch at Garfinkels and Sweet Basil and dinner at Montauk Seafood Grill. Watched Monday Night football at the Tap Room. We stayed here before and will again because of the location, accomodations and hot tub.
