Having read reviews, we were expecting good things - but this was an absolute treat!
The audio tour at just £1 each was fabulous - and the whole staff team were keen, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Added to that, there were children's craft activities, a roman coin expert and water divining.
We had a great time. Can thoroughly recommend!

Thank Andrea W

WOW! Well done NT. A great historic place to visit and much more than I expected. Very good talks given on site by the staff and a good cafe.

Excellent facilities. The audio guide for 1 pound is brilliant and a bargain. Wonderful mosaics. Café a bit pricey but good. Shop good.

A most impressive property of the national Trust. We had a first American lady as our tour guide. I have held a N.T. membership for nearly 40 years and been shown around properties by lots of very good guides. However, this lady was in a class of her own!!

We enjoyed our afternoon at Chedworth very much...we were lucky to meet a local Archeologist sharing his personal ancient coin collection. He conducted a brilliant overview of the area and the history. The villa is well preserved, easy to walk around. Highly recommended for Roman History buffs. Really well done. Great shop and food snacks too.
