This was the first time in a Drury Inn for me. I picked the hotel from a very limited list of hotels on the north side of Denver -- apparently there were many high school and college graduations in the Denver area that week and many hotels were sold out with out of state visitors.
Very conveniently located just a couple of blocks off of a main highway with many other hotels and restaurants and some shopping on all sides of the exit. The room was very clean, nicely sized, and well appointed. I happened to get a top floor (7th) room facing the front range, so the view of the Rockies was excellent. The only negative for the room were the soaps and shampoo. All were perfumed. Really? Most men do not want perfumed soaps. If Drury insists on using them, they should offer a non-perfumed alternative. I had to go to the Target across the street and buy a bar of soap.
Front desk staff was very helpful throughout my three day stay. Very pleasant to deal with. The breakfast did seem to be the same each of the three days. Very good, but a little variety would have been nice. This property also offers a buffet dinner each night. I arrived too late for the first night and while I looked at the offerings for the next two nights, they did not appeal to me. That's not a negative because plenty of guests were enjoying the offerings -- they just weren't something I was interested in.
I elected extra points in lieu of housekeeping each day, so I can't comment on housekeeping other than to say the room was very clean on arrival.
I'm returning to Denver next week and I've already booked into this same Drury property. That should say something. The 4 rating instead of 5 is solely because of the perfumed soaps and the lack of daily variety in the breakfast.
