I couldn't give it 4 stars but its better than 3 stars. We stayed there for about a week in the summer. Great location. The staff at the front desk was helpful. Lots of parking areas available in the garage - which would be great during ski season (not having to de-ice your car. The rooms seemed cleaned and had everything we needed. Free wi-fi - but a bit slow in the evenings. There is an indoor pool and hot tub area that was 98% empty during the week - kids loved it as they were the only ones around. Condo is 5 mins to the main area of WP and like 5 mins to the actual WP resort. all and all a good location to explore the area.

Our original impression was that it was reasonably clean, with basic accommodations: not nearly as nice as our beautiful Grand Timber Lodge accommodations in Breckenridge that we had traded, to try skiing in Winter Park. Everything was OK until after we checked out. We received an e-mail from the business office telling us our credit card would be charged $150 for "excessive" cleaning. There was mention of vomit found in several places in the room! I could not believe my eyes, and was sure they had mixed up our unit with someone else's. When I asked for pictures, all they had was evidence of Gatorade spilled on the bedsheets and some empty bottles and containers on the kitchen countertops. I fully admit to spilling Gatorade on the bed and leaving some garbage and recycling in the room, as well as not running the dishwasher before leaving. Apparently this cost $150 of extra work for the cleaning staff. I'd like to work as one of their cleaning staff!! The $150 is not nearly as difficult to swallow as their cleaning staff fabricating stories about us leaving vomit (and apparently urine as well) in the room. I would NEVER recommend anyone stay there.

Room Tip: Just don't stay here at all.

The units are old school but totally functional and clean. The pool was small, but the kids pretty much had it to themselves the three days they swam after skiing. Very close to town which was great for dinner and any supplies we needed. On the shuttle line but it is a 15 minute ride to the drop off. From there you take a "cabriolet" (think stand-up gondola) to the base village and walk through town to the lifts. It would be much more convenient to stay at the base, but this condo complex is affordable. Overall would absolutely recommend Silverado 2 if staying in the village is not in your budget.

Room Tip: This complex has 3 floors. There are no elevators to floors beyond the first. The only benefit of...

We arrived late Sunday night and used the lobby lockbox to get our room combination, resort map and basic instructions. The trip was about two hours from the airport in the dead of night on snowy slow roads. Parking was in an underground garage which was close to the elevator. We used a cart to take everything up to our room. Since we were on the 2nd floor, there was a flight of stairs we had to carry our luggage up. There were ski lockers in the garage which we did not use since we had a rental car for the week. With the area shuttle, it would be easy to skip the car rental and take a shared shuttle from the airport if you wanted to save that cost.
Our unit was a recently renovated two bedroom with two full baths. It had granite in the kitchen and new appliances with flat screen TVs, a DVD player and free in-room wireless internet. There is an enclosed pool and two hot tubs, a game room, a ski shop/store, and bar. The only thing we missed was an in-room washer/dryer. The real hidden gem was the in-resort restaurant. Although small, the food was excellent. My bother enjoyed the nut encrusted red snapper and I the bacon wrapped scallops. Everything was 4-star or better at reasonable prices – totally unexpected in a small unknown resort.

We stayed there for a week in the fall. It was not busy but we were put in the most remote part of the time share on the 5th floor, with stairs only for 3 floors. It was located next to the railroad which had a number of trains coming throughout the night. The unit was very nice and had everything we needed.
The pool and whirlpools were very nice. The staff was very friendly.
If you arrive after 5 as which we did, the check in process was very cumbersome and difficult.

We stayed at Silverado II for 3 days in July. It was a great place to stay. The condos were nicely appointed and clean. The ammenities were nice, especially the pool and jacuzzis. But, WOW, we had dinner at the restaurant there, and it was FABULOUS! Every course was delicious, inovatively prepared and presented, and since they weren't too busy that evening, the Chef himself served us. Nice touch! The service , overall, was excellent, our server was Christy. She was very personable and knowledgeable and efficient. I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but this was so much fun, and the scenery is unmatchable, to boot!

Room Tip: Condos in Bldg 5 have great views.

We love this place! Rooms are nice and clean. On-site ski rentals and covered parking. We loved having a drink at the bar while watching the kids play in the pool. There are also two game rooms to keep kids occupied. We loved the restaurant...excellent Paella.
