Great staff nice rooms. Bags were lost by the airline and staff here helped me get them back. It couldnt have been a better place to stay. Lots of cool shops/ restaraunts nearby. Had a great time and will be returning without a doubt. Many thanks to the staff for all the help with the airline.

A great find before heading through Rocky Mountain National Park. A cute little town with beauty and charm, the hotel was affordable and comfortable. Next door to Rocky Mountain Coffee house (the best coffee we found in all of Colorado) and decent restaurants and shops all in walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed 1 night in september at BW Alpenglo in Winter Park. The hotel looks a little old, but was charming and cosy. It was very clean and the room was comfy. Very friendly people working there. Very good breakfast with a tasty fresh fuitsalad. And in the morning, we saw 3 foxes wandering around the parkinglot of the hotel, looking for food. That was funny. At walking distance from resto's. Recommended.

Thank you for a great review. What fun to see the foxes in the parking lot the morning of your stay. Over time we've had moose, deer and even a bear wander by the hotel. Always a good idea to have a camera ready in our neck of the woods! Thanks again.

Very nice hotel. Right on the edge of town if you are coming from Grand Lake. We went in the off season...after summer and before the snow started. The staff was very nice and helped with suggestions on places to eat. the rooms are clean and comfy and some of them have mountain views. The only reason they did not get 5 stars is because I paid more for the room with "deluxe mountain views" and the only "view" we had was of the parking lot, would have rather saved a few bucks and had the king bed!

Stayed here 1 night on a trip thru the Rockies. Catie at the front desk could not have been more welcoming & helpful. The motel & room were clean & fresh. Breakfast was good. The room had a micro/fridge which was very handy in a setting where you should continually drink water. The motel is within walking distance of restaurants & stores including a coffee shop & liquor store. I would certainly recommend the Alpenglo to those travelling to Winter Park.

We are fortunate to receive many kind reviews, such as yours - - - but you use a word that is especially significant - - - "value". Our main goal is to provide a good value to our guests and I'm thankful we appear to have succeeded in your case. The positive comment about our front desk attendant is also much appreciated. Thank you!
