We went to this restaurant simply because they had gluten free pasta but we were surprised by how excellent the whole experience was.

The exterior doesn't look promising, but the inside is beautiful but simple. The menu was also simple, but my fiancé's meatballs sub was good and my gluten free pasta carbonara was glorious; probably the best gluten free pasta I've had while dining out. A lot of places will only have one or two sauces that are gluten free, but the lunch menu had four or five, and the gluten free pasta was actually cooked to the correct consistency; it takes longer than normal pasta, and some places don't seem to realize that, so I eat a lot of al dente pasta. :)

Our waitress was super friendly, efficient and accommodating. She also knew the menu really well.

Definitely a great experience, I cannot recommend it enough!

It's a treat to be able to step through their front door and be in Italy--the ambience, staff, food, wine--perfect.

We have started a new tradition with a date night meal here at Mangia. They have been offering a special on Sunday evenings that is exceptional! We asked friends to join us a week ago and we all agreed the meal was excellent. Each of us had a different entre and they were all great. The salads were nice and cold, the wine was a decent portion and the various pasta dishes were well prepared. We look forward to our next visit!

We drive up to Cripple Creek on the weekend, and always stop by Mangia Mangia for dinner! The food is excellent, I love the Pan Seared Salmon! My husband loves the Meat Lasgana. You can tell that they cook everything to order, and that the food is fresh. We have eaten before Kitchen Nightmares came, and after and love the food both ways. We can eat for two of us with wine for under forty dollars. That is a great deal! They just changed the saldads that comes with the meals and we love the garbanzo beans.
The service is always friendly, and the servers are always willing to help. Everyone that has served us is prompt, and will fill our drinks before we even notice. The owner often times comes out to ask out our dining expierence. She is always friendly and willing to accomadate. This is our favorite restaurant in Woodland Park, and recommend it to anyone who asks!

After the big make over we triedit once again hoping the food would be better. It wasn't. We were a group of women all of whom agreed the food was bland, prices too high, bread was extra and we were so unhappy because Italian is pretty easy to cook and there is no excuse for sauce to taste like it was poured from the can with no spices added and spaghetti with one meatball is insulting!
