Good communication with the owner when making the booking. Nothing was too much trouble including pick up and drop off. Even when we said we were having a late night out we were still offered transport after midnight. Downside was the public road up the hill was in bad condition and hard to find a taxi that would take you all the way to the top but still able to get transport from Imaj although sometimes needed to give some notice. Easy to get bemo from bottom of hill to senggigi for 5000rp.
Views from Imaj were amazing/spectacular and well worth the effort of getting up the hill.
Even though there is no restaurant, room service was readily available, food was restaurant quality and was probably even more enjoyable to eat by the pool with the view then a restaurant anyway.
After previously staying elsewhere in a villa with private pool where staff rang a doorbell to gain access we were disappointed to find staff arriving unannounced. In saying this had we mentioned our concerns to staff requesting this privacy I am sure they would have been obliging.
Overall the experience was amazing and would definitely stay again.

Everyone at Imaj was lovely and treated us very well. We had 3 nights in Villa no 3, then 1 night in Villa 1. Both were spectacular. Only a few constructive comments for recommended improvement is:
* fresh towels are supplied in the room before arrival
* better communication when taking orders for breakfast (when Trifosa was not there, staff struggled with communication)
The road up the hill is not so bad. Trifosa explained the circumstances - typical of politicians. The food was of good standard - staff just need to make note of which meals are going where. Transportation of 3 couples (1 with 2 toddlers) was convenient and prompt.
Trifosa is very well connected, and if we asked for or needed something, she was on to it straight away. Her efficiency is to be congratulated. Thank you Trifosa, and thank you Mei-Lin.

I was a little worried about our booking at Imaj due to some of the negative feedback on Trip Advisor about security.
There was no worries at all. Everyone at Imaj was lovely and treated us very well.
We had 5 nights in Villa no 1 which was spectacular. we had 4 days worth of activities that were all arranged by Imaj Villas. We snorkled and SCBA dived and it was all so inexpensive.
Lombok is also lovely and much quieter than Bali.
The road to the Villas gets a lot of comments and I was plesantly suprised at how tame it was. I was expecting an Australian 4X4 adventure and there was just a few pot holes. Stop the whinging everyone!!

Room Tip: Villa No 1 was large and the pool was perfect
