The observatory is the oldest of its kind in the Southern hemisphere, the exhibits are good, and the staff is both knowledgeable and welcoming. They're also very flexible: the night I visited was partly cloudy - it even rained for a short while! - and the staff had to fall back on showing us other objects than the ones planned. Overall, thoroughly recommended!
