“Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting”
Reviewed 1 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Stayed four nights as my daughter's wedding was in a very nearby vineyard restaurant. Nicest place I've stayed in 12 years of visiting Perth. It really was right up our street and delivered everything it advertised. Like staying in someone's lovely home, which until recently it was. Calm and laid back and my daughter was so taken with it that she changed there for the wedding. And of course we could walk home afterwards.
Kalamunda is very nearby and is probably the nicest town in the Perth Hills so well worth a visit.

“I didn't want to leave!”

A 30 minute drive from Perth, and we were a world away! My sister was over from Brisbane, and could not believe the short travel time to escape the city to somewhere sublime. Beautiful cottage, peaceful views of the valley, friendly and helpful hosts, delicious breakfast, comfy beds, wineries galore... with Kalamunda a short drive away for cafes and shopping (the friendly ladies at the Tourist Info Centre provided us with free maps and advice) - what more can you ask for? Haven't stopped raving about our experience. It was a real shame to have to go home to Perth!

“Brilliant!”
Reviewed 31 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We stayed here for a night in the cottage one weekend. Located in a beautiful spot in the valley and the cottage itself is stunning. Great history, beautiful and comfortable. Log fire and the best breakfast ive had served fresh from Petra. We wished we had stayed longer. You could definatly stay for a long time here as a different base for a Perth holiday. It has everything. The best thing for us was the hosts. Very welcoming and helpful.

“Beatiful cottage and picturesque views”
Reviewed 19 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Bickley Valley Cottages and didn't want to leave! Petra, Harrie and Trixie were very welcoming, and the complementary bottle of Shiraz on arrival and breakfast delivered the next morning were delicious.
It had the best of everything...cosy cottage with fire place and spa bath to relax, beautiful valley to go for a walk through, toys and farm animals for my toddler to play with, and lots of places to explore a short drive away in the hills. A great place to switch off your phones and take in the scenery! We will be back!

Loved our stay at Bickley cottage!! It's obvious that the owners have put so much thought and effort into every aspect of this little cottage to bring out all its character and charm. We couldn't fault a thing, comfy beds, bathrobes, slippers, wine, spa bath, amazing breakfast basket & that view!! So relaxing, would stay again.

“Peaceful, quiet elegance in beautiful surroundings”
Reviewed 21 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

A lovely cottage with luxurious surprises like the fluffy bath robes and quality linen. Well equipped cottage for our family of 4. Our children are the free range type (aged 11 and 9) so this cottage was perfect for them to explore the beautiful valley with a bit of independence. We were close to the Kalamunda Mountain Bike trails (10 min drive) which gave us the perfect day started off with a fantastic breakfast from the owner which included beautiful painted hard boiled eggs as it was Easter weekend, homemade jam, homemade cake, fruit, muesli. Onto mountain biking all morning followed by a game of scrabble on the balcony with hot chocolate and coffee from the proper coffee machine in the kitchen then a stroll over to the very local winery where we had a large cheese platter and tastings. Hide and seek in the orchards on the way home. Wine purchased for the evening. Children and adults alike all very, very happy!! Would highly recommend for easy Perth getaway for like minded families.

“Beautiful Cottage & Stunning Location”

We were so kindly welcomed by Harrie & Petra during their busy period of asparagus farming. The view from the large balcony was a big winner for us, overlooking a breathtaking valley. We relaxed in the evenings watching the birds and dreaming away at the peaceful surroundings. The cottage has been decorated perfectly with old world charm, and is warm & inviting. The bedrooms are great for two couples. It was a great location the enjoy wineries of Bickley which are all located so close together. We do hope to be back here again for another weekend away from the stress of the city.
