“Very good chinese food on the shoreline”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

Excellent Chinese cuisine. Mongolian beef is a good choice. Cuttlefish is really squid and
can be good or tough depending on your luck that night. They have a wide variety of beers that offer some interesting opportunities for trying something really different.

“Well spiced, innovative Chinese food.”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

Not your typical Chinese restaurant. The dishes are quite varied and all are interesting. Some of the spicing may be too much for certain American tastes, so be clear about your preferences when ordering.

“Surprisingly good”
Reviewed 13 March 2014

Surprisingly good Chinese on shoreline Connecticut. Some of the dishes are worthy of any great hole-in-the-wall Chinatown restaurant. Still, there are some nods to bad Americanized Chinese food, starting with the fried chips put on the table to start. One of those places that it pays to know what to order; the authentic dishes are good. Stay away from the ones that sound like they belong at PF Changs.

“just a taste”
Reviewed 8 January 2014

While the food is decent, the portions are mingey, food is generally expensive for a Chinese restaurant and the service is poor. Most of the waiters are untrained and at the end of the meal one is given a fortune cookie with the check[as in eat and get out.]The décor of the restaurant[tasteful]belies the quality of the experience one has there.Even a tacky place offers fresh fruit at the end of a meal and cleared dishes.I always leave there in a bad mood because it feels so ungracious.Good bar and beer menu-wish they could pay attention to the other stuff.

“Mexican Tortillas with your Shredded Duck?”
Reviewed 24 November 2013

I am going to be brief and to the point - popular place for families, nice interior with a small bar area to watch the game if you so desire. Busy wait staff - but...

Service was slow, food was bland with little to no seasoning, I was served a single lukewarm Spring roll on a white plate with no sauce. Hoping for something like my favorite Peking Duck - The Shredded Duck with Ginger was far from it and difficult to describe as it was masked by the flavor of the flour pancakes it was served with instead of authentic chinese thin pancakes. These were thick and tasted just like a Mexican flour Tortilla. Why?? My wife's "Sizzling chicken and Black bean sauce" was extremely bland and unimaginative.
