My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here for a weekend. The grounds and stay were very lush and accommodating. The B & B is on a large wooded lot with lots of wildlife. The building traces its roots from Colonial times and is steeped in history, which the hosts obviously very much enjoy demonstrating and explaining by a personalized tour. This home was a part of the underground railway complete with secret passages. The bathroom on our suite was luxurious compared to any chain lodgings I've stayed in. We were here for Parents Weekend at UConn (7 miles away) to visit our daughter and the owners took a special interest in showing her some the historical minutiae on the grounds. The breakfast was sumptuous, it began with a parfait of fresh berries followed by a choice of Eggs Benedict and pumpkin waffles. The owners were also very knowledgeable about current local events such as the Coventry Farmer's Market where we spent a pleasant 3 hours tasting local foods and toured the historic Nathan Hale residence.
