“Wonderful!”

The shows at this place are always to die for! The acting and singing is phenomenal and when it finally ends you only wish you could buy another set of tickets to see it all again! The location is so convenient because once the show is over you can choose between two delicious restaurants that provide the best service and the best food. It's the perfect place for a romantic date or a wonderful get together with family/friends.

“Terrific time, as always!”

Love the Goodspeed Opera House! We saw "The Most Happy Fella" this weekend and it was fantastic with wonderful voices and beautiful sets. The only downside is the lack of pitch in the theatre, which makes some sight lines really poor. I did get a cushion from the back this time which brought the "short me" up about 1-2"--so seeing was easier. We always look to see what is being produced when we come up this way and we are never disappointed!

“Great show”

Love the Goodspeed Opera House and also the Gelston House Restaurant next door. Saw "The Most Happy Fella" today and it was outstanding. One of the songs brought me to tears. If you are in the area - don't miss if you can get tickets. Ends in early December.

“Great play !!! Nice Location!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 October 2013

We saw Most Happy Fella, Sunday October 20th, at Goodspeed in East Haddam, Ct. It was the 1st time we were ever there. It was as good as a New York Broadway Play. A beautiful Theater over looking the River with Scenic Views. Ticket prices are reasonable, not like in NYC. This year marks the theater's 50th Anniversary. It's a shame we waited 50 yrs to get there. Nice restaurants, in walking distance to the Opera house too.

This was our first time at Goodspeed and it was an excellent musical and venue. The Cast was terrific, and the staff could not have been friendlier or nicer
