Another great dinner at J. Gilbert's! The service was great - attentive without being obtrusive (a big shout out to Ken!). The food was delicious. My fiancee is very picky about any kind of bisque (says it's starchy and industrial tasting) but their crab bisque was very good. We both ordered steaks (Cowboy Ribeye and the Kansas City Strip) but were cooked to our liking and very tasty. The sides were also very good - roasted brussel sprouts and wild mushroom risotta. I don't really have much to say about the potates au gratin. However, the best part of the dinner was the "extra" - maple bourbon shrimp. You must try these!! We left no room for dessert so can't comment on that but we will be visiting again. It's pricey but I think worth it.
