Personable, attentive service. High quality, freshly prepared food. Authentic Greek flavors and a wide variety of entrees offered.

“average restaurant”
Reviewed 15 May 2013

First time dining at this restaurant. All four meals ordered were bland; chef needs to discover herbs. Although the pasta was cooked deliciously al dente and salads were fresh and crisp. Rolls were just plain; maybe a little seasoned olive oil on the side would have made them tastier. If fresh herbs were involved in the entrees I would certainly go back to this restaurant.

“Better pizza than we expected!”
Reviewed 8 April 2013

We normally get pizza from one of the other "thin crust" spots in town but decided we needed a change of pace last Friday night. Adriatiks was doing a fundraiser for Glastonbury High School so we decided to try it. We had a large cheese pizza, cheese calzone, and the cheesy garlic bread and everything was terrific! Even my husband who normally does not like Greek pizza (thicker crust) said he thought the pizza was great. Prices are much more reasonable than some of the other places in town and the food was very good. My son devoured his calzone and my daughter loved the garlic bread. We will be back!

“Homey, Friendly Neighborhood Joint Worth Finding”
Reviewed 9 March 2013

As others say, this place is hiding. And there's a few other pizza/italian places within a quarter mile, so there's competition. Apparently, Adriatik's has been dishing out homey, old-fashioned, affordable Italian (and Greek) dishes plus pizza and grinders since 2000. So clearly they are doing something right. Our first visit was last week, last night we had take-out pizza and wings, and we will be back.

As others say, the decor is dated. But in a charming way. It's nicer and quieter than the nearby competition, I'll say that. The mom/pop husband/wife team has a loyal fan base for good reason. You are greeted and served with smiles and efficiency. The complementary rolls are OUTSTANDING....crusty but very soft inside, very warm. Even better is the Tuscany Bread...WOW!! Melted cheeses and EVOO. This alone is worth the trip!

The menu is more extensive than you'd expect -- seafood dishes, chicken and veal plus the usual Italians. My two companions had the Gyro with greek salad. The Gyro was good, not the best, and the salad was forgettable. I had the Adriatik's Delight dish...FABULOUS!! Plenty of thin veal, lightly breaded, baked in cheese and served over thin pasta. DELICIOUS!!

You know what also is really nice? 10 bucks for a half carafe of wine. That's what. More places should do that. And it was decent wine.

Then last night we did take out. The wings are very good, spicy buffalo flavor with nice dip and veggies. The pizza? It was average. We got the Red Special (2 meats, 4 veggies) and the White Mediterraneo (eggplant, feta, spinach) and both were forgettable. But I've had worse nearby.

We look forward to return visits and take out, but will focus on the meals and apps. We're glad we found you, Adriatik's!

Owners are terrific. Food is fantastic! I love this place. A little outdated on the decor but other than that its tops in my book.
