Quaint and beautiful. Lots of interesting musical instruments and historic tales. Peaceful well cared for grounds to relax in too.

This cathedral nominally said to be the smallest in Scotland is delightful. Seating only 70 people but in grand style. The grounds are well kept and easily found with good signage.

The Cathedral of the Isles is a must-see for any visitor to Millport whether or not you are religious. It's quite a climb up to the cathedral, so appropriate footwear would be a bonus. The view from the steps in front of the cathedral is beautiful and then you enter into the serenity of this tiny church. The ornate carvings are marvellous and if you are spiritually inclined you can't help but feel empowered by the serenity of the cathedral. There's a lot more to Millport than sun, sand and ice creams.
