“Ever-helpful under pressure”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 August 2014

I'm a regular at Pinnocks so I am used to them being busy, but just popped in to get some of their amazing coffee beans ground and bagged up for using at home. They were clearly just past a particularly busy patch and the staff were looking a little frazzled, but still so polite and patient, and juggling several customers. They have a good system running there so that it's very rare that you feel you've been missed. Thanks again guys.

“Best beans always make my day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2014

I'm a regular at Pinnock's. The coffee is excellent. The hot chocolate is excellent. The sausage rolls are excellent. The customer service is excellent. The cakes, I try to avoid. Because they're excellent, and I'm a fatty fatty boombatty. (seriously, try the chocolate and raspberry brownies)

Keep up the good work Russell and Andy!

“Great place, coffee, and staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2014

Ripley is a beautiful village in surrey and one of it's main attractions beside the beautiful historical listed buildings is Pinnocks coffee shop. They have the most amazing décor inside serving great coffee and cakes which are all homemade. Family run business and feels like home. Their lunches are delicious too. got to give them a try.

“Disappointing second visit”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014

I visited Pinnocks for the first time in may and had a fantastic experience - thought I had found a gem! I raved about it to my mum and when she visited from Wiltshire, I picked her up from the train station and took her straight there for lunch - how disappointing. It was a Monday (not sure if this makes a difference) but had the ploughmans - old tomatoes, brown coleslaw and tiny bit of bread which wasn't enough for the cheese (which was lovely). Asked for some more bread and was charged for it! Nothing special - mum never commented on her tomato and feta cheese quiche - but tiny thin portion - you would expect homemade, chunky with lots of filling! Wont go back!!
