We stayed at Abbey ' s Lantern Hill Inn this past weekend, and it was exactly the kind of retreat we were looking for !

We had the Southwest Room and it was one of those rare instances where the picture matched exactly what I saw in person.

Erika was a great source of information, while thankfully not being overbearing or too "in-your-face", which I really appreciated.

All in all, a great time was had ! I would stay there again !

Stayed at Abbey's Lantern Hill Inn for two nights this past week. We stayed in the Lucy Room and were very impressed. The bed/sheets were high quality and so comfortable. Both the room and bathroom were extremely clean and had a cool beach-spa feel. They also had everything you need, in case you forget anything...fancy soap, shampoo, iron and amazingly comfortable robes in the closet.

I was very impressed with the food options, for a mid-week stay. From the biscotti and fresh ground coffee available around the clock to the "organic everything," these were clearly the highest quality eats I've ever seen presented at an Inn/Hotel. Countless thoughtful details and a really great value. The grounds are amazing and there's a great feeling of being tucked far from civilization, but with main attractions super close by. Erika is top-notch...personable, witty and always smiling. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.

We stayed at Abbey's for 2 nights in early November. Erika was welcoming and very accommodating (even helping with our laundry) and gave us a really good restaurant recommendation (The Pita Spot in Mystic).

Our room was large and comfortable, with a real log fire which made it feel cozy, and it was spotlessly clean.

The B&B has an 'middle of nowhere' feel about it (that's a good thing!) while only being a few minutes drive to Mystic, or the casinos if that's your thing.

Breakfast on weekdays is continental (cereal, fruit, muffins), and is cooked on weekends.

I'd be happy to return and to recommend to friends.

Abbey's Lantern Hill Inn is tucked away in the woods of Connecticut and is a lovely getaway for anyone seeking relaxation. Erika is a wonderful innkeeper and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable, even helping us switch to a room that worked better for us. The atmosphere is peaceful, the rooms are beautifully decorated, and the breakfasts are lovely - we were able to enjoy ours outside in the morning sunshine. Erika is also great with recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. I would highly recommend this B&B. We look forward to returning soon!

Room Tip: The Cottage is perfection and very quiet as it is away from the main house.

Erica is very friendly. Good lodging, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast. Was nice - fervency toast or eggs to order. Great coffee. Price was just ok ($200 for the cottage seemed high). Would recommend if you can't find something closer to mystic or if you are going to Foxwoods.

Abby's Lantern Hill Inn and the property are great. Love the scenic and relaxing feeling. Erika is very friendly, a wonderful innkeeper, a good cook and she truly make her guest feel welcome. We stayed in the Mystic Room and the Jacuzzi tub was perfect to relax and unwind at the end of a busy day going to the local wineries. Our room was very clean, in great condition, and very well decorated. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Next trip we would like to go in the Spring, so we enjoy the hammocks, fire pit, grill, gardens, and covered pavilion that the exquisite grounds provided. Whether looking for a place to escape and relax or just to spend a night or two while enjoying the attractions of the area, Abbey's is a wonderful place to stay.

Abbeys Lantern Hill Inn Hill is a MUST visit. Ifyou are looking for the ultimate B&B look no further, this is the place. Erika is a amazing hostess, she greeted us when we arrived and gave us a bunch of great recommendations of where to eat and visit. All her recommendations were on point. The Inn is on a HUGE area of land, hammocks, fire pits and great scenery and ambiance to boot. The entire area was well kept, and clean.
We stayed in the Down East room, and it was fantastic. The room was clean, and well supplied. The wood burning fireplace was a huge plus, it made the 2 nights that we stayed that much better. We woke up to the amazing smell of the most amazing French toast that I have had the first morning, Organic eggs and sausage the second. The breakfast Erika made was a great start to a great day.

If you are looking for a B&B, look no further. This IS the place. I can't wait to visit again. Did I mention the Inn is 10 minutes away from EVERYTHING!
