Great quality items, prices extremely reasonable for the baked goods, cheeses, etc. that you just can't find anywhere else. Places like this old fashioned European style bakery are few and far between and disappearing fast, especially so far off the beaten track. Sign says 45 years in business, I can see why after visiting!

“Patience required”
Reviewed 27 December 2012

Prices were very high considering the product. While the pastries are good, a very large measure of patience is required, as known customers will be waited on before others. I have been there often enough to say that I will normally avoid the Dutch Epicure unless I REALLY need something I cannot find anywhere else.

“a hodgepodge of european delights”
Reviewed 30 October 2012

Stopped in to get the advertised soft pretzels and see what other german/dutch delights were there. It had quite a selection of licorice candy and dry drink mixes. No pretzels. The place just seemed too disorganized to me with one store blending into another. don't waste your time.

“Cool Dutch Food Shop!”
Reviewed 14 October 2012

We were encouraged to have a loaf of the pumpkin bread, still warm from the oven: Excellent! Still good the next morning when we had the little bit left over!

“Best mocha cake ever”
Reviewed 3 July 2012

Love her mocha cake and pastries, melt in your mouth treats. I've a friend who comes to visit from Detroit, and must have one or two of the mocha cakes whilst here. Last time he took one home! How cool is that?
