This was our 3rd year back to the Plume of Feathers. This year we booked the entire Hen House which is three bed/two bathrooms. Ideal for a growing family plenty of place for everyone. The rooms are wonderful, as our the staff and Manager Paul. Nothing is too much trouble. The Plumes location is great for visiting all of the attractions. We will be returning again in 2015.

Very enjoyable stay at the Plume of feathers, we stayed in room 2 and it was excellent, could not fault anything, my son said the sofa bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was first class with a really good shower, towels and toiletries. The pub and restaurant were very inviting and we used both during our stay and both had a friendly relaxed atmosphere. The hospitality and service were first class and the breakfast one of the best I have ever eaten. Easy access to other parts of Cornwall, we went to Newquay and Perranporth very easily. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel at all

We stayed for 1 night on our way to stay with our family at Holywell Bay. We have stayed before and eaten in the restaurant a couple of times. Room 2 - The Stable - was large and comfortable and could not be faulted. It would be fine for a longer stay. We ate in the restaurant and this was as usual an excellent meal. I have to congratulate the staff and Paul for coping so calmly (outwardly at least!) with the power problems throughout the evening - we were kept informed at every stage and offered options - in the end we were able to have what we had ordered.
A great stay and I am sure we will find an excuse to stay again.

Room Tip: Room 2 was fine at ground floor level. It was opposite the kitchen but this did not affect the noise...

We fell upon this place by luck driving around looking for some where to eat. They were offering roast dinner and we had the roast beef, the meat just melted in your mouth. I must say it was the best roast dinner, even better than mine and that's saying something! Will definitely be going back. Very good value for money.

Stayed at The Plume as a stop gap on the way down to Penzance. Was very impressed with the amazing room (room 5 The Tack Room) with lovely beds and enough room that 4 adults stayed in the room comfortably. We ate in the restaurant that evening and the food was wonderful and when we mentioned that the fries were a bit soggy they were replaced immediately without question - great service!. We then fancied a pudding an hour or so after the meal so ordered from the bar and they brought it to the room - again great service.
Breakfast in the morning was wonderful with a great selection and friendly service.
Would recommend to all and looking forward to visiting again.

Had a quiet, relaxed lunch here. Nice food, old part of pub has character. Efficient staff without being'in your face'. Satisfactory choices on menu. A few different options would have made it 'special' .
