We have stayed at the Steamboat Inn multiple times (probably in every one of their nine rooms!). We just love it. The staff is great, the rooms have the feel of home, and you can't beat the location. We hope to return every year!

This was our third stay at this beautiful inn. We love it here and will always come back. We stayed in the Early Dawn room which is HUGE with 3 banks of windows along the river and a large bathroom. The bed is large and comfy and the seating area by the windows is relaxing. As far as location, you can't do better! You're literally steps away from dining and shops and everything that makes Mystic great. You can park your car for your stay ad walk anywhere you wan to go. They also gave us dining suggestions. The rooms have fridges and silverware. There are snacks available 24/7 and breakfast is bountiful and delicious.

Great job as usual!

Room Tip: Pick a room with a river view!

The steamboat inn of mystic is on the river adjacent to the drawbridge in downtown mystic. No parking problem here because you can walk to everything, and parking at the inn is free. If it's too far to walk the inn has bikes for you to use free of charge. Most rooms have a window or two or three overlooking the river. The rooms are large and well appointed, more like a B&B than a hotel. Each room has a/c, tv, private bath, etc. some have refrigerator, fireplaces, desks, etc. Breakfast is included and although it is a buffet, it is hot and plentiful. The staff is always ready to help you and usually has the 411 on local attractions and restaurants. This is my fourth visit and certainly will not be my last. I do like the second floor, however, there is no elevator. There are accessible rooms on ground level. Considering the proximity to the hustle and bustle and to the river traffic, the rooms are very quiet and private. I would not recommend the inn for children. I think it caters more to couples, similar to most B&Bs.

Room Tip: Ask for the second floor and ask about the view.

First time we received a stay as a Christmas gift. It was so wonderful we went back the next year! Would love to make it a tradition! Go on the sailing tour while you're there. It's the best! In the heart of town so you can't go wrong.

Room Tip: All are different but our favorite was the Carolyn!

This boutique hotel is just our style. Comparable to The Grand Harbor Hotel in Camden, Maine. And not the 6 hour drive for us. It's in our own state! Wonderful place right in the river. Customer friendly staff, Super clean roomy rooms, fabulous breakfast included and river reflections of morning sunset that dance around the room. Early Dawn was our room and so fitting the name. Planning on returning in November to visit one of our favorite coastal towns. Loved it all!

Room Tip: Easy access from your car. First floor is right on the dock. We were there the day it rained heavy, so it was quiet in Mystic downtown. Relaxing to us. No fees to park in the large parking lot at the Inn.
