We were attending a wedding of a family friend in the area at the Vineyard in Stonington The room was clean and breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly. We will be choosing Quality Inn again for future trips

On arrival Nicole greeted me with a smile making check-in smooth & quick.

Room #264.
Large room will full carpet. Comfortable king bed. Two bed stands, each with lamp. Small couch with coffee table that was used as a luggage rack. Writing desk with comfortable swivel chair, coffee maker & ice bucket. M/F. A closet cabinet closet with eight wooden hangers. Iron & board.

Flat screen television-50 channels-sits atop a three drawer chest. No guide for television, however the guest service book has a channel listing, yet no individual programing. A lower one drawer chest beside the 3 drawer. This chest was used as a luggage rack. Two wall mirrors, one full length with the second one shorter & wider.

Bathroom.
Sink is a corner type, doesn't have the room as a wall to wall type, however I managed. Bottles of shampoo, conditioner & lotion. For the lady guest a packet of gentle cleaning makeup remover wipe (1). Shower/tub. Hot water for a shower in 8-9 seconds. Shower head is gentle to the face & body & adjustable. Plenty of towels. Hair dryer. For a soap dish a plastic clam shell. Overall room & bathroom very clean. The bathroom has the clean & shiniest floor I have ever encountered.. Light switch to the bathroom is located on the hallway wall. When flushing the toilet hold the handle down for a solid four seconds for a complete flush.

Breakfast,
Hours Monday-Friday 6:00-9:00. Weekends 6:00-10:00. Steamers for scrambled eggs, hash browns & bacon. Bread, English muffins & small rolls. Orange, apple & cranberry juices & cold water.Milk & yogurt. Three dry cereals. Bowls for apples, oranges & bananas. Two waffle makers. Seating is 12-13 tables with 2-4 chairs. Coffee is located in a separate room. One woman is constantly restocking items & wiping down tables. Nearby the guest computer wit large couch & two comfort chairs. Also a wall mounted flat screen for the morning news.

Towels & linens are replaced sooner on request by contracting the front desk. This facility is two stories with a talking elevator. When the door closes/open woman' voice will say 'Door closing, Please stand Clear. or if opening 'Ok to enter". This is a 100% smoke free facility. Plenty of parking. Counted 5-6 handicapped spaces on the south side as a guest walks out the front door. Two automatic sliding doors greet a guest,. Two luggage between the doors. There is an outdoor pool, not opened yet-April 16-20.

During m stay Mystic was experiencing below normal temperatures, so the heat was on. A wall mounted control was used. On the first floor is the fitness room just a few feet from the elevator. The nearest restaurant is the Mystic Diner to the south. This Quality Inn is just north of the Odle Mystic Village & Aquarium. Mystic Seaport is probably about half a mile south of the Village off Greenmansville Blvd.

The following names are the staff I talked with:
Nicole- check-in, afternoon & evening.
Bill-General manager -all day.
Kevin-assistance manage-morning.
Janine- breakfast area woman.
Minguel- evening.
There were other staff members I encountered, yet didn't learn their names. All staff are polite, friendly& helpful. I thank al members, even if not learning their names.

At present have no plans for a return visit to Mystic, however wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Quality Inn.

Room Tip: If possible call ahead to reserve a room on the first floor, easier if having heavy luggage.

This hotel is perfect. The only thing cleaner than the building are the rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast is always a nice bonus. The Wi-Fi is better than most "premium" hotels. It is also in a great location, far enough away to be quiet but close enough so it is easy to get places. This is the only place in Mystic I will stay at now.

We were greeted by friendly staff. Our room was quiet and IMMACULATE!! The bathroom was spotless as well. The bed was comfortable. The location was great - close to the local attractions (there is a Dunkin' nearby, too!). The breakfast was hot, fresh and yummy! There is so much to do locally - we will certainly visit again and stay at this hotel.
