The Inn at Mystic is quite lovely. The grounds are well kept and there are blooming flowers everywhere. Our room was in the Lower east wing, I say this because location is everything I guess. I should have known when I walked into the stairwell to go down to my room my nostrils were attacked by the smell of mold. It only got worse when we entered the room. Although the room is quaintly decorated the smell of mold kinda ruins it all. My allergies went through the roof and even though they had a dehumidify set up and running, it didn't help. The front desk couldn't give a rat's Heine about it they just said they would call maintenance, for almost $300.0 night I was hoping for a bit more....On the plus - the view of the Mystic cove was wonderful and the Inn is walking distance to the Mystic Bay area. If you try the place, make sure you do not get the moldy rooms.
