After reading the reviews all were very good except one tittled "honest review" dont listen that is not an honest review ex. the hot tub is not in the dining room...it is in a room with many windows, couches over looking the lovely pool.
Great location!!! nice view of the water from the game room and one of the many decks. Beautiful pool area and property. The property manager John really was a great informative guy. really was ready to bend over backwards to make sure we were happy. If we needed anything or had any questions he was just a phone call away...
The one complaint I do have is it would have been nice if they could have made the weather a little nicer....50's and raining on memorial day weekend come on guys work on that...
I highly recommended this place it exceeded our expectations, we will be going back!!
We decided to spend a few days away, and we chose Mystic. Since there were four of us, we decided to rent a house instead of booking a hotel. We had a fabulous time at the Aquarium, Mystic Seaport, and Old Mystic Village. We also spent one day in Newport, Rhode Island.
The house is clean and has several living areas, a full-equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms, a game room, and a hot tub. There is a bedroom and workout room on the lower level that we did not use. It was late in the season, so we did not go in the outdoor pool -- but it is beautiful.
We had breakfast at Kitchen Little every morning. Definitely a high point of our trip. We had the best breakfasts ever!!! (Take a left from the house, another left and then a right turn to get there.) If we go back to Mystic, we will definitely book this house again. Thank you to the property owner and the property manager for making this "mini-vacation" memorable.
My nephews enjoyed the Pool, Hot Tub and Game Room. After a fun day at the Aquarium, we ordered take out from Angie's Pizza the night it rained. The boys then Slept the night away while we relaxed on the porch, the deck and the balconies. Thanks for everything.
it is time for an honest review. First the good parts. The grounds around the house are beautiful and the pool and area sound it are lovely. Then there is the house. First there is the fact that it is air conditioned. There are three in window air conditioners, one in master bed room one n the den and one in the game room.,so a large part of the house including the other bedrooms are warm. The second bedroom in the middle of the house offers no privacy and the third is a hole in the basement. The dining room shares its space with a hot tub often making it hot and humid.
The inside in general is worn, furniture old with torn sofas. Oh yes the closet in the main bedroom is full of clothes so we had some metal contraption to hang clothes and no draws. Oh yes there are about 10 ttvs but three worked. The garbage disposal method was throwing bags on the floor of the garage picked up once a week. A promised cleaning because we stayed for two weeks never occurred as the manager remembered he forgot two days before checkout.
In summary this is by no means 5 star unless you are a group of guys or gals there for a weekend ,not a for a family of 6 for two weeks.
Even though Mystic is crazy busy in the summer this gem is nestled in a lovely quiet neighborhood. We could get to most of our destinations within 30 minutes. We went to the Aquarium, the Book Barn, the beach, wine tasting, and even the movies! The main reason for coming to the area was to go to the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center which very easy to get to. And the kids loved the game room! We would definitely recommend this house to anyone.
I loved the location, the house was great, loved the pool and the private yard. Close proximity to the public beach. Kitchen a little small for the size of the house, but we made it work. Beds were comfortable, house clean.
Excellent place for a "Girls" getaway! This home would accommodate a young/or mature family very nicely as well. The neighborhood is quiet and the the sound of birds singing all day was a nice treat. The amount of different spaces to relax, stretch out and make yourself at home are abundant! Enjoy an easy walk to the docks or just enjoy the view from the upper balcony. The toughest decision was deciding which deck we should enjoy our morning coffee on. We had plans away from the home that we cancelled so we could just stay in and unwind.
The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a couple of special requests and questions for the property manager John. He was quick to assist along with the owner Chris. They are both prompt, kind and very friendly. We are hoping to return for another stay in the fall.
