Thank you very much Richard and Lorraine for our best stay in Port Elizabeth so far! Every year with Ironman we are looking for comfortable, private, centrally located, neat and clean accommodation and we could not have asked for anything better. We stayed in the cottage and it is truely beautiful with much more than what you will need. Lorraine, you really thought about everything and your service is excellent. You made our travel and stay with a three month old baby an absolute pleasure! Hope to see you again some time soon!

My husband and I stayed with our two daughters (4 and 1 years old) at "A Beach Cottage" in December and January for over 5 weeks. To make a long story short: this is the best place to stay in PE - and I did a lot of research in advance! Their biggest USP is the 2 BR cottage, which is really unique for the area so close to the beach and very practical for a family with two children. Besides it is not just a cottage, it is a lovely furnished place with personality. Very clean, nice beddings and kitchen utilities and our hosts Lorraine and Richard did everything they could to make our stay even nicer! Don't look any further, because this is the best place to stay in PE!

My husband and I stayed at Abeach Cottage for a week over New Years and we absolutely loved it! We were so well taken care of and the accommodation was lovely. Our unit also had a well equiped kitchenette that was really handy when we weren't in the mood for eating out. Lorraine and Richard were wonderful hosts and made sure we were always comfortable and had everything we needed. It was also wonderfully close to the beach and other amenities such as the golf course and Boardwalk. We would recommend Abeach Cottage without hesitation to anyone wanting a lovely stay in Port Elizabeth.

We were in PE for he South African Chess Championships. Generally, this is quite a stressful time for us, as our son is only 11 years old and needs to feel secure, comfortable and get a good night's rest in order to play well. We all loved the family unit. It was just like being in a home away from home. Lorraine was a marvellous hostess, and it was the small personal touches that really made our stay unforgettable. My kids loved swimming in the pool, and the unit was close to shops and the beach. Lorraine runs a superb establishment.
We have already passed her contact details on to others. You will not be disappointed staying at "abeach cottage".
