the Maritime aquarium in Norwalk is a must-see attraction for vistors to the fairfield county in Connecticut. the aquarium boasts of a fair-sized exihibition of local maritime resources. It also has a live sharks display with regular exihibits on shark-feeding. The aquarium also has scheduled seal feeding. Children jsut love this place . It is a good source of entertainmnet and information for young and old.

Mahesh, thank you for taking time out to review the Aquarium! We're psyched to hear the kids AND adults enjoyed all we have to offer :-) Hope to see you back again soon.

We enjoyed our time at the aquarium. It was a great day trip for the family. We enjoyed seeing the Born to Be Wild show in the Imax theater. We felt the admission price we paid to get into the aquarium and show was affordable and worth it. The kids enjoyed the time we spent there. It seemed like there was some construction going on during our visit and some things may have been closed? The aquarium was not busy which we really enjoyed. The fish exhibit seemed to be crowded with lots of kids and many did not want to share in the fishing boat so my son did not get to "fish". The aquarium is small and can be seen in a few hours which was perfect. We did all the exhibits in the morning and we were in the Imax at noon for our show which lasted about 40 minutes. After the show we left for our journey home that's why it was the perfect day trip! We really would like to return again when the weather gets warmer.

Not very large. Only a couple of hours needed - 3 hours tops including seeing a movie. Good hands on exhibits for kids and adults.

We were last here two years ago and were glad we visited again. Our party was four adults and we enjoyed the place tremendously. It is really best if you check the website beforehand to get an idea of the schedule - examples include the feeding of the seals (we were at the 130 venue) which was great fun and the shark show (it wasn't on this time but was greatly enjoyable when we saw it two years ago). With wandering and reading and watching the sealife we were there for over two hours and that is the minimum I would recommend. You get a bit of a discount if you get an IMAX ticket at the same time as seeing the museum. If you are within 30 miles of here and have children you should become members and regular visitors; even if you don't have children you should join!

We love reading this type of review! The Aquarium is a great place to visit, even for people without little ones in tow :-) So glad to hear you enjoyed your trip, and thank you for the kind words.

We're right in the mix of fantastic dining, shopping and arts and entertainment experiences -- an afternoon at the Aquarium can quickly turn into a whole day spent in the heart of SoNo (South Norwalk). Hope to see you back again soon!
