It looks like an interesting place and must be really nice when it's quiet. It was very warm dark claustrophobic with no staff to direct the constant flow of ppl traffic.

Thank you for taking the time to review the Aquarium, we appreciate all feedback we receive from our guests.

I'm sorry that the crowd affected your experience at the Aquarium and that your visit was anything less than excellent. I was on the floor yesterday and can understand your frustration -- it was extremely busy! As you saw, spring vacation is one of our highest attended weeks of the year.

I hope you come back and give the Aquarium another try during a quieter time. If you're looking for a low-key visit, typically weekday afternoons are the least crowded. It's a much calmer experience and you can spend lots of time enjoying each exhibit. School and camp groups (sometimes large) of children usually leave the Aquarium by 2 or 3 p.m. Summer months, and whenever school is out, are our busiest times. -- Cara

I took my grandchildren ages 9 and 2 to the aquarium. It was a fun education-filled 2 hours. Two to three hours is needed to see it all. The kids loved touching sharks and jellyfish. The aquarium differs from others I've been to in that it focuses on the marine life that lives in Long Island Sound. liked how spacious it was and it didn't feel too crowded. There is a lovely area outside right on the Norwalk River. There are Imax movies as well. Money and time well-spent.

This place is outstanding. All the animals are fascinating and fun to watch. The seals are fed 3 times a day, so stop by at 11:45, 1:45, or 3:45 to watch. The employees of the Aquarium are very educated and friendly. Stop by the IMAX theatre and watch the video about Great White Sharks.

Amazing! Deserves 5 stars!
