We stayed one night, in two bedrooms. One of us needed a handicap-equipped bathroom, so we were given rooms on the first floor. The rooms were pretty basic; each room had a king-size bed which filled up most of the available space. (The person in our party who used a walker could not use her walker in the room, because the walking space everywhere in the room was so narrow.) On the other hand, the hotel offered free bottles of water in the in-room fridge, and free access to Wi-Fi. Breakfast was included in our rate; we could order anything from the menu, all of which was fine. The place seems to be a local landmark, used by many different local groups to host their functions. Summary: an OK basic hotel, well-located, with some nice touches.

We were here on a business trip and stayed in one of their new suites in the refurbished historic house on the property. They have done an amazing job making the suites very comfortable with nice furnishings. We were able to have most of our meals in the suite. The first night, we had a problem with the bed air mattress not working correctly...we spoke with management and they switched out the entire mattress that day without a problem. The breakfast buffet was OK, some of the selections were not kept fresh throughout the buffet hours but it was certainly enough options to get your fill, and they changed some of the options from day to day.
The owner is usually in the breakfast area having breakfast with locals, and is always available to chat with.
We had to catch the train into NYC, and the shuttle dropped us off right at the station, but were unable to pick us up that evening since we got back after 5pm so we just caught a cab.
Overall, a nice place to stay (at least in the suites)...and we would stay here again.

Room Tip: If you have the option of one of their suites in the historic home, it's definitely worth it. I...

This is a lovely place to stay in Norwalk. Close to the highways and route 1 but far enough to be quiet. Nice size rooms, comfy new bedding, frig with water, free internet, great free breakfast and even a tv in the bathroom! Whats not to like? It was even less expensive than the corporate rates I could get at the chain hotels ( Hilton, etc). I would recommend this place to my friends!

While the staff is nice, the walls are thin, there is construction, the waiters are very slow and the wifi was out for 3 hours monday morning. It is conveinent to I-95 and downtown norwalk. There are also alot of events there which contributes to the noise and congestion. The night we arrived there was no place to park in front of the hotel.

I recently was at the 50th anniversary of Fairfield University's rugby club and as usual I stayed at the Inn. Why "as usual" ? Because it affords the comfort and spaciousness of being at home with a fine dining facility [Adam's Rib] on premises. The comfort : restful, luxuriating beds; clean bathroom; courteous staff and ease of location. The on-premises dining has a full menu whether at breakfast or dinner with competitive prices and quality food. The spaciousness : roomy quarters [ 2 Queen size beds ], certainly for two adults ; ease of movement without bumping into one another of furniture. I highly recommend the Inn ...

Stayed here for one night as part of a self planned driving tour of New England. Staff polite and helpful rooms good size and clean so nothing out of the ordinary really. However, what made it for us was the meal we had in the hotel restaurant. I have never seen such a large rack of ribs and they were really well cooked. Very filling and satisfying
