I have eaten here several times, and have never had a bad meal. The Thai calamari appetizer is quite good, and even has a little kick to it. The patio seating is lovely.

This is hands down the best place in old lyme. my family, friends and myself have eaten here numerous times and enjoy it every time! Not one negative thing to say, just wish they offered dinner too! :) excellent job done by Sichaun, his family and staff.

Luncheon spots overlooking the water are surprisingly tricky to find in our part of CT, but the Morning Glory Cafe is a gem! We ate out on the patio overlooking the salt marsh and Lieutenant River and enjoyed the whole experience.

Our appetizers were tasty crispy fried Luang Prebang eggrolls, made by the owner's mother (we think) and served with a sweet chili sauce. I had the lobster, feta, spinach and red pepper omelet with whole wheat toast and fresh fruit - all really tasty, fresh and fun to eat! The toast was thick slices and seemed like home-made bread. I was too busy enjoying everything to ask who baked it, but it was a pleasant surprise and above average in flavor and texture. My husband had a straightahead bacon, egg, white toast, and fruit plate and enjoyed all of his items too.

We were delighted to find this little spot and intend to return! It's unusual to find such a pleasant setting combined with interesting, above-average food at reasonable prices! I'd like to try some of the other Asian dishes, since we enjoyed the eggrolls so much. The people who work there are all very nice and the personal story of the owners gives an extra dimension to the whole experience. A great stop along the shoreline!

Beautifully located on the Lieutenant Rivef with outdoor patio overlooking river and marsh. Excellent casual food, try their veggie egg white omelet or bacon & egg sandwich on English Muffin-delicious! Ask for Liz, Angela or Kate the friendly and effiecient waitresses!
