The five of us arrived just before closing on Sunday afternoon - casual spot with huge portions of great food.

“Awsome Sandwhich”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 August 2013

My wife and I were walking Main Street looing for a quick lunch. There was a gentleman sitting outside the Rio Café who saw us and said you have to eat here. His credibility was established when we determined we were both from NYC. Place was clean. Menu was varied and I'm never afraid to try something sight unseen. Lobster chowder was excellent. Rio served an awesome sandwich Many of the sandwich's were a lunch meat with melted cheese, bacon, egg, and onion sticks. Huge sandwich. I had the shaved beef and cheese and my wife had chicken and cheese. If you like an unexpected lunch in a small town this is a must

“Great brunch”

Attentive wait staff. Even gave our dog water when we ate outside. Good food. Pancakes were delicious. A nice experience. Could use real maple syrup.
