Bailey's has been in town for a number of years, but just recently gave themselves a makeover which included their menu, as well. Love the new additions, the service is always wonderful, and the new décor is cozy and inviting.

“Most creative food in Ridgefield”
Reviewed 1 March 2014

There are too many restaurants in Ridgeifeld and most of them are just O.K. so its a great treat to find that the newly conceptualized Baileys is so good. I used to eat there for its straightforward food but now its completely redone. The CIA trained chef has a sure hand with all the courses. The pork belly appetizer melts in your mouth, The smores desert comes complete with a puff of smoke. The brussel sprouts side dish [which I usually skip] were crunchy and crisp. Try everything, You cant go wrong.

We went to Bailey's before going to a show. The place is very nice and cozy. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The wine list was good and we had a Cotes de Rhone that was tasty. They are family friendly and had plastic cups with straws for the kids. I like the farm to table concept so I had high expectations. The brussel sprouts were excellent, the boulliabaise was very good as well. The entrees were a huge disappointment. We had the coq au vin which was dry and the special, a kobe steak that was tougher than any steak I have had in a long time. Not to mention the price for such a poor cut of meat! It was very hard to cut and then difficult to chew. I didn't eat much of my dinner, so we had panna cotta for dessert. This was quite tasty. Parking was limited, we got the last space available in the lot behind the restaurant. It was rather romantic when we were one of 3 couples, but as the place filled, it became quite noisy.

“Very Good”
Reviewed 6 February 2014

I had dinner here on Saturday, they have changed their concept & is now a farm to table concept.
We all enjoyed our meals fresh exciting & flavorful, however the entree portions I felt were somewhat small I had the Colby beef it was $42.00 & portion was small plenty of veggies but very small portion of thinly sliced meat my 2 guests felt same about their meals.Just to let you know prices are somewhat extreme pretty much New York prices so for a dinner check that cost $280.00 for 3 people where's the pretty table linen etc management needs to also put some effort into creating a more ambient atmosphere.

Family friendly as well, which is unusual for upscale places.
Our food was great - the service that day was a bit uneven.
We will def go back!
