“Good for Kids - not as overwhelming as an entire museum”
Reviewed 1 October 2013

This was good for kids. It is a small museum with a gift shop and a small classroom. Outside you can walk along the nature trail or make casts of dinosaur footprints in a designated area. I guess this is also good for couples but kids will have a blast. I would say you can do everything in an afternoon if you make the casts or two hours if you just walk around the museum and nature trail.

“Great place for the kids”
Reviewed 30 September 2013

We brought our 9 year-old nephew, and we all enjoyed it very much. It's amazing that they have so many dinosaur footprints! The presenters give interesting info at a kids level. The presenter showing the snake and the skink was wonderful - she knows how to relate to children. We also brought the plaster and made a cast of one of the footprints; it made a nice memento for our nephew. We went on one of the trails over the wetlands which he enjoyed too. All in all, a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.

“Great if small attraction”
Reviewed 19 September 2013

This place is amazing, yet we were the only people there. It is basically a roof over a huge slab of many many dinosaur tracks. With exhibits around the outside. It cost us 6 dollars each to get in and was fascinating definitely worth a visit. The car park was big free and just off the motorway. Take your camera and take some great pics next to a massive T Rex footprint! The place is fun for all ages.

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed 29 August 2013

Since we live in CT we figured we really should check this out. This small museum is a wealth of information, beautifully organized, educational and fun! We were pleasantly surprised by its cleanliness and variety of activites for a range of ages. The staff were some of the most knowledgable people we have encountered at a small museum, and were enthusiastic about sharing it with the visitors. Definatley worth a trip! The trails are well marked and provide a lot to see. The exhibits are up to date and feature a lot of intersting info about CT's geology. All around excellent!

“Really neat park, nice way to spend a couple of hours”
Reviewed 20 August 2013

This is really cool the way they built the building around the footprints of the dinosaurs. We arrived on a special day as it seemed. They were having a appreciation day to celebrate the birthday of the place. Admission was free but would have been worth it to pay. They had crafts and games for the kids. The trails were very nice and easy to walk. The bugs were not bad, but I could see that they could be depending on the weather. The highlight of the place was the ability to make a casting of a real dino foot print. You have to bring your own supplies(check the site), but you will have a great souvineir that will last a long time that the whole family can enjoy.
