Owner description: Salisbury Winter Sports Association (SWSA) is best known for its annual Jumpfest ski jumping competitions, usually held the first weekend in February. These include the Eastern Nationals, target jumping under the lights, junior jumping, the Human Dogsled Race, ice carving, the Snow Ball, and others. Other events during the year include a skijumping camp for young people, ski/skate swap/shop (first Saturday each December), Brew-Ski, and other community events. Jumpfest is also the centerpiece of the Jumpfest Winter Festival, an area-wide celebration leading up to an including Jumpfest weekend.

The Ski Jump is a hidden gem. Over 85 years old a group of volunteers puts on a ski Jump festival each Feb. It has the feel that you are in Vermont or Maine even though you are only 2 hours from NYC.
