“Little gem of history at the beach”
Reviewed 29 July 2013 via mobile

Great place for light lesson is aquatic life and a cool wall with tiles that explain the history of Stamford! Never seen anything like it and preserves the colonization of the area! Plus Cove beach had great path to walk bike or rollerblade and picnic areas, volleyball, playground, docks and basketball and Ic skating rink! Great day but non residence must pay from May-Sept

“Great Place to Take Kids”
Reviewed 28 May 2013

Located in Cove Island Park, just south of Exit 9 off I-95 in Stamford, SoundWaters is a leading environmental education organization. At the house in the park, they offer numerous educational programs for kids of all ages as well as "hands-on" exhibits inside their house. They also offer a number of summer camp programs.

“Nice Little Center”
Reviewed 25 August 2012

Their facility at Cove Island Park has a nice little aquarium area and is definitely worth a visit when you are at the park. Good for all ages. No admission charge. They have an excellent monthly environmental speaker series (other than summer months) usually held at UCONN Stamford. Luncheon program, also with no charge.
