“I Want to be a Local”
Reviewed 21 June 2014

Had a really good lunch - I had the Codwich sandwich and my husband had a lobster salad roll. Almost too much to eat. I had to take half the fish out and eat it with a fork because of the size. Perfectly breaded and done on the inside. Only small quibble would be the brioche roll it was served on. Got a little messy and fell apart. It came with a side and I got the small salad - wonderful! The lobster roll was so full, he ate half the salad with his fork before even picking up the roll. I had a reallly nice fume blanc and he had a local beer that was really nice. Would like to live closer and come to try more.

“We will return”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

We had one of the most enjoyable and delicious lunch here today. The server as very attentive, but not over bearing. The food was wonderful especially the scallops broiled in a nice butter crumb sauce with the choice of two sides, just the right portion for lunch. The setting by the harbor/boat yard made it all the more special. Will worth the hour drive to have a great lunch.

“Local Fresh”
Reviewed 17 June 2014 via mobile

Went for a late lunch. Great Atmosphere. Great View. Right on the water in Stonington. The wife had fish and chips..excellent. I had the Stonington Sea Scallops also excellent. The Menu has just enough choices in each category. There will be something you like (seafood lover or not). The Staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Our server Nichole was great. Each Meal comes with 2 sides. Our Meals with 2 draught beers and a glass of wine.. $62. + tip. Well worth it !

“Wow! Not to be missed”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

Always a great setting to dine in. Over the years many different names have appeared on this restaurant. But this is the absolute best! Stopped there late afternoon yesterday which was Father's Day & it was bustling. We waited an hour or so but it gave us time to do the dock walk. Enjoyed some wine on the dock and then seated. Service attentive. Mussels with garlic were fantastic - meaty, abundance of garlic broth, no throw aways. Exceptional. I had whole belly clams again flavorful, not too bready and decent portion. No gritty sand in anything. He had sea scallops which I'm not partial to but these were sweet and not chewy. Strongly recommend this to anyone looking for great seafood in a scenic location. Enjou

“A great spot, a great meal.”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

We have heard great things about this restaurant and finally got there. We weren't disappointed! We arrived early on Friday and were seated immediately. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer, delicious. We had a cod dish and scallop dish, both cooked to perfection. The portions were generous. Finished off the meal with lemon meringue pie. The dining experience was pleasant and we will be back.
