We arrived at Stonington Harbor by boat and were forced to stay a couple of nights because of bad weather .We ate at Dog Watch Café twice and enjoyed both meals. The service was very good. The four of us all enjoyed our meals

Food was great, had a drink on the pier while we waited to be seated & had ice cream outside for
dessert. Great time!

Lobster bisque was delicious. I had the lobster salad roll which was good. I prefer my lobster hot but most places serve it cold in this area. My husband had lobster ravioli which was ok. It was drenched in pesto cream sauce so it was hard to taste the lobster. I liked that it was kid friendly. Service was excellent. They get you in and out fast. We went around 5:30 and was able to beat the crowd. Shortly after it was busy with a line to eat. This place is right on a small pier which we walked.

We were not surprised that there was a wait but we were rewarded with a wonderful view of the boats moored in the harbor. The service was attentive and Vicky, our server, added pleasant conversation.

The bouillabaisse was expensive and not special. A grilled salmon sandwich was well prepared with a generous portion of fish accompanied by a tasty tartar sauce. We enjoyed the casual dining but if we were not staying at the Marina, would would not have sought out this restaurant.

Lots of locals and sailors, great waitstaff and the management has thought of everything. The food was delicious but get there early as this seems to be a local favorite. The scampi pizza was to die for!
