We went here for a weekend get-a-way for the long Labor Day weekend. Not knowing anything about the town or the Inn, we were very impressed by the quaintness of it. The Inn has a long history, and the inn keepers Steve and Susan Beeching have been running the Inn for the past 20+ years. They are very gracious and accommodating with their hospitality, and make you feel at home right from the time you walk in the door. We stayed in the newest of the rooms the "Treehouse Suite" or room Seven. It was beautiful. You truly feel you are in your own little retreat from the rest of the house. It is in the back of the house, so it is quiet with leaves rustling with the occasional squirrel scurrying over the roof, bright with sunlight and very very cozy... If you are looking for a B&B in the area be sure to give them a call, you will not regret it! We plan on going back there when time allows for it.
