Our daughter and son-in-law discovered this gem many years ago. We went there the first time with them and loved it. The hosts, Barb and Stu, are warm, friendly, interesting and fun. They make some darn good wine too!
The restored house is a treasure for antique and history lovers, we have been back several times since our first visit and are always surprised by the changes Barb has made. It is truly a home away from home for us.
The rooms are lovely, there are great gardens, beautiful antiques and the Home -made breakfasts served in the old tavern room are delicious, abundant, and worth the trip alone.
There are several interesting places to visit nearby, Caprilands Herb Garens and the Nathan hale House are just a couple of them. We will be going back soon!
